Find Location of Java in macOS

In this tutorial, we will determine the installation location of Java on macOS.

Java is installed at some directory in your macOS device. We can use the terminal to find the location of this directory.

To find the location of the recently installed version of Java, we enter the following code in your terminal.

/usr/libexec/java_home

We can also determine the location of a specific version of Java. The version of Java can be specified using the -v in the above command.

For example,

/usr/libexec/java_home -v 1.8
